I had a training on mediation in Osaka. It is very inspiring and exciting experience as Japanese family lawyer. Mediation which the class deals with is more flexible and reasonable process than Japanese court mediation. I hope that we will introduce such mediation style into Japan. Furthermore, the mediator skill is very helpful for everyday lawyer’s work. Especially in Japan, lawyer’s role contains kind of mediator. I recommend the training to all Japanese lawyer!
