International Family Mediation
International family mediation is a special format of family mediation for bi-national couples and families. Different laws and legal systems can be relevant, as well as cultural and linguistic aspects. Especially when bi-national couples with children separate, things can get quite complicated.
Especially in such complex cases, mediation offers great advantages over legal proceedings.
I am a specially trained Cross-border Family Mediator and offer mediations in German, English and Japanese for bi-national couples and families. I often work in a team with a co-mediator.
The non-profit organization MiKKsupports and advises parents free of charge in several languages on the topic of mediation in cross-border family conflicts and international child abduction. I was trained by MiKK as a Cross-border Family Mediator and work for the association as a trainer.
