Introduction of our Singapore Desk

A New Horizon: Our Singapore Desk with PracticeForte

Cooperation across continents often sounds abstract … until you experience it yourself. With the launch of our Singapore Desk, it has now become a reality. Together with PracticeForte Advisory in Singapore, we are expanding our services in the field of international mediation and consulting in the Asian-European context.

Why Singapore?

In recent years, Singapore has established itself as a global hub for dispute resolution. The Singapore Convention on Mediation, signed in 2019, marked a milestone: mediated settlement agreements can now be more easily recognized and enforced internationally. This has strengthened the role of mediation not only in Asia, but worldwide – making Singapore an ideal location for international cooperation.

What does this mean in practice?

With the Singapore Desk, we are building a bridge between Europe and Asia. Clients dealing with cross-border conflicts in business, family, or project settings benefit from:

  • Local expertise through PracticeForte Advisory’s network. - Intercultural facilitation to overcome hidden stumbling blocks caused by language and cultural differences. - Legal and mediation experience from both European and Asian perspectives.
This turns international collaboration into a true partnership: legally sound, culturally sensitive, and practically workable.

A personal outlook

This cooperation is close to my heart. After years in Japan and extensive work in intercultural communication, I am delighted to further strengthen the ties between Europe and Asia together with PracticeForte. Since our first meeting in Berlin 10 years ago, we have grown together both professionally and as friends. This foundation of trust is a solid basis for future projects.
